    Day 1. City Tour

First stop: Made dinner reservations at KaLui. This place is almost always packed with tourists and locals alike. The interior design is simply beautiful and the food is delectable, not to mention the complimentary desert after they clear up the dinner plates. Make sure to take off your shoes/slippers before setting foot in the restaurant. It's a rule.

Second stop: Palawan Wildlife and Conservation Center. It's mainly a croc park, really. Before you get to go around the place, you have to register (queues are awful) and go through a short briefing. Afterwards, you can choose to keep up with the rest of the group and listen to the guide or you can choose to split with the group and have your own pace. Either way, I promise you'll still get out alive.

Third stop: Mitra Ranch. This is the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the afternoon sun in your face and the summer breeze in your hair.

Fourth stop: Baker's Hill. If you ask me, this place has got a tad of Disney Main Street vibe to it. Don't leave without buying any baked goodies. Their pastries are really good. It'd be a shame to miss out on that. And make sure to climb up the mini observation deck.

Last stop: Baywalk. This is the perfect place to wait for the sun to set. After a long day of the obligatory city tour, I could think of nothing better than ending the day by the docks, just marveling at the way the sun transitions the world into a luminous canvas during golden hour.
