Embarked on another baking adventure this afternoon. My vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream frosting & chocolate chips turned out to be a success. Since I have incredible non-existent skills in baking, I was extremely happy with the results. I got the recipe from Macaroni And Cheesecake. I got a little help from my aunt on creaming the butter and sugar (which proved to be a herculean task when you're not using an electric mixer---and because of that I decided to change my weapon and used the electric mixer instead). I also modified the frosting recipe a bit and used 2 cups of confectioner's sugar instead of 4. I made 24 cupcakes all in all, which I am very very proud of. Haha. And the thing I love most about this recipe is the chocolate chips inside each cupcake :3P.S. As usual, I still suck at placing the frosting

I wouldn't say your frosting was horrible, they look scrumptious! I hope you keep baking! I'm sure good practie will improve wonders. :D
